We acknowledge that the WACUHO 2025 Conference, at Harveys and Harrah’s in South Lake Tahoe, is within the traditional, ancestral territories and homelands of the waší·šiw (Washoe people – the people from here). The waší·šiw continue to gather here and are the stewards of this land . As we acknowledge the Lake Tahoe Basin as the homeland of the waší·šiw, we ask that you, as visitors, treat this place with the same respect as those who walked before you.

The conference theme for WACE 2025 is "Connecting Horizons."
Our goal is to connect across the multi-faceted work WACUHO members do every day at their home institutions and utilize beautiful Lake Tahoe as a rejuvenating horizon for our work. Connecting across functional areas, institution size, student need, passion areas, and more are some of the ways we plan to connect at WACE 2025! Proposals that integrate this theme will receive priority in our selection process.
